What a year it has been! I cannot believe that 2019 is nearly over, it flew by so quickly. Today I’m rounding up my my favorite makeup products from 2019 , with a mix of new discoveries alongside a few staples from previous years.

RIMMEL Brow This Way Eyebrow Powder Kit
Sadly, because of me not having the best eyebrows, eyebrow pencils don’t work for me. So I have to resort to brown eye shadow or eyebrow powder. Which can be hard as they don’t always have my shade?
So when I came across this a few years ago, I was over the moon. As it wasn’t too expensive and was the perfect shade of brown. The only downside is it comes with a wax, which I’ve tried, but don’t really likes as it just doesn’t work well for me.
RIMMEL Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel
If you don’t use this, I’d defiantly recommend it! As it not only keeps your brows in place but with the hot weather makes your brow powder & brow pencil stay on longer.

REVLON Blush Highlight Palette
For a drug store product, I have to say this revlon blush highlight is great. I love the fact that it has a range of different shades and also find it adds a great spark/shimmer to my checks when and I applied and combined with MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Plum Foolery makes the perfect check combination.

MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer
Wasn’t a big fan of this a first as it would look to patchy and wouldn’t stay on my face in the hot weather. But as soon as I got the right shade and learn’t how to apply it properly, it’s been my favourite concealer ever since.
It is only meant for the dark circles around your eyes, but as I love the shade and the way it applies I just use it as my general day to day concealer.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
All I have to say is this one of the best mascaras ever, and If you haven’t tried it, then I’d definitely recommend it. It’s the only I’ve been using the past few years. Can be on the pricey side, but it’s defiantly worth it if you want longer and fuller lashes.
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Plum Foolery
Plum Foolery is a beautiful sheertone plum shade that has a silver shimmer. I love it as it goes perfectly with my olive skin tone and looks great all year round and as it’s not super pigmented; it blends in nicely with a highlighter or bronzer.

MAC VELVET TEDDY Lipstick
Velvet Teddy is probably one of the most loved and hated lipsticks. I was probably one of the last to the party to try it, but have to say it was the best things I ever did. Might not be for everyone, but I have to say it’s the perfect shade for whatever the occasion whether it’s going to the shops or going out to dinner.
REAL TECHNIQUES Brushes
If you haven’t tried Real Techniques brushes yet, then I defiantly recommend them. Can be pricey, but definitely worth it if you want good quality long lasting brushes. You can buy them in a set or just buy single ones, which I find great if you’re wanting to try out different ones. By doing this, I found out I preferred using the buffing brush instead of the concealer brush for applying my concealer.
