HOW TO SLAY YOUR TWENTIES

Photography: Saturday Life Girl

The twenties are the best years of life for learning and growing. These cream years determine where you shall be in near future. So if you’re here wanting to slay your 30s, hold on and read until the end.

We spend most of the time in our twenties in confusion or looking for some direction. However, in this dilemma, we miss out on some of the best years of our adulthood, which primarily determines our life’s direction.

In order to avoid this fuss, I have listed some amazing things to do in your 20s in order to slay your 30s.

1

Find Your Passion

This is the prime time to get focused and decide what you really want to be and what you want to do with your life. Do some soul-searching exercises in order to find your true passion. This must come from within because you want to make sure it’s something you want to do and not something., someone else wants you to do

Your passion will fuel your purpose and will keep you motivated during those rough days when you won’t feel like doing anything.

2

Push Yourself Out Of Your Comfort Zone

The Comfort zone may be super comfortable but it surely isn’t the place where you can grow or thrive. It will indeed be super scary to push yourself out of your comfort zone but always remember that there’s so much progress out there.

Be willing to take risks and try out new things because you still have time and you can always figure out alternative ways when things go wrong.

Never be the same. Keep evolving, keep growing.

3

Develop New Habits

Your twenties are the best years to develop some healthy habits. Have a strict morning and evening routine that enables you with a healthy mindset and helps you stay mentally fit.

Successful people always focus on having constructive habits, and these could be built easily in their twenties. Start working out or consider having morning yoga sessions, develop healthy eating habits, meditate, dance your heart out – do whatever you feel like to but start somewhere.

4

Find Your Balance

In this rush of being more and doing more, the people in the twenties always forget to maintain balance. We get super busy with our work schedule that we totally neglect our personal life.

This is the time to train your mind to find the balance and know the boundaries. You surely don’t want to miss out on all the fun just because you’re grinding and hustling all your life. Be mindful and find the balance to enjoy your life.

Learn to accept failures

This time of your life will lay so many opportunities in front of you, but it will depend on you which path you choose. Sometimes, the path you chose won’t always lead you to success, and during those times instead of giving up, learn to accept the failures.

Do not get disheartened with everything that didn’t work. Life is here to teach you, learn from it. These lessons will make you wise and sharp for later stages of your life. Think of them as the test matches before you finally show up to the world cup.
